In May 2002 a member of the Durham Assessment Centre’s team was one of 33 finalists out of over 360 nominations for the Public Servant of the Year Award. The team member in question was nominated in tribute to her ‘dedication both to candidates and the NVQ process’.

Durham Assessment Centre candidates generally complete their full award within the 18 month national average time, and often more quickly. The Centre has been commended by its External Verifiers for the standard of portfolio produced.
